Have you lost someone close to you to suicide? You are warmly welcome to a support peer meeting organized by Surunauha.

Losing a loved one to suicide is often a deeply painful and overwhelming experience. It can bring up many difficult and conflicting emotions, and it may feel like your whole world has been shaken. You are not alone with these feelings. This one-time meeting offers a safe and supportive space to meet others who have experienced a similar loss, and to share thoughts and feelings. You are welcome regardless of who you have lost or how much time has passed since your loss.

We understand that coming to a meeting like this for the first time can feel like a big step. It is good to know that you can take part in a way that feels right for you – you can share as much or as little as you wish, or simply listen. You are also free to leave the meeting at any time if it does not feel right for you. Many people find that it becomes easier to speak over time.

The meeting will be led by peer support volunteers from Surunauha.
